KWS vegetables in Italy has announced breeding technician Vacant position for their Noceto location. To support the tomato breeding program the company is looking for experienced technicians. The full time onsite role is responsible for operating and managing breeding processes of tomato crop. The role is also responsible for working with supervisors and other team members to ensure the profitability of tomato breeding program.
Breeding Technician Responsibilities
- Povide expert advice regarding operational breeding of tomatoes.
- Ensure efficient and effective execution of breeding activities.
- Work with farm team to manage crop health.
- Assisting farmers in implementation of stratergies to achieve high quality crop.
Requirements
- Secondary school certificate or relevant qualification in agriculture or horticulture.
- Minimum 2 year of experience in same role.
- Wrking kowledge of horticulture, agronomy, and pathology.
- Basic computer knowledge and management softwares.
- Strong communication and planning skills.
- Ablity to lead and supervise the team.
