JFran Farms is hiring general farm workers to join their team in Wallaceburg, ON, Canada. This full time seasonal position requires no degree certificate or any relevant diploma. Company will train selected candidates on job. The main responsibilities of farmer has to perform daily farming task related to vegetable fruit melon oil seed corn and other grain farming. The company deal with a variety of vegetable grain and fruit farming including wheat, corn, oil seed except soyabean. They are looking for physically fit, efficient, talented, experienced, and reliable individuals who can easily work onsite and outdoor at rural areas in wet, hot, noisy, and dusty environment.

General  Farm Workers Responsibilities

• Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens and other farm areas.
• Clearing wood and stones from farm.
• Grade vegetables and fruits as per size, shape, colour and volume to fetch high price in market.
• Leveling of earth to fine grade specifications.
• Plant, cultivate and irrigate duties.
• Weeding and Harvesting various crops.
• Maintain working records and logs.
• Performing other general farm duties.
• Writing daily basic progress reports.
• Cutting of horticultural crops.
• Hand harvesting vegetables and fruits.
• Applying the technique of hoeing between the row.
• Following sustainable soy farming practices includig crop rotation, reduced-till or no-till, water and nutrient management, precision farming technology and cover crops.
• Dividing the freshly harvested produce into marketable lots and non-marketable lots

Requirements

• No relevant experience is required.
• No degree certificate or diploma is required for this role.
• Must have own vehicle for travel.
