Food Service Workers Opportunities

Deep River and District Health has announced food service workers opportunities, the company is looking for reliable individual to work under the direction of the Food and Nutrition Supervisor. As a food worker you are responsible to plan organize direct and perform food preparation production distribution and service activities. The regular part time position also requires to performs sanitation ware washing and inventory management activities as well as implements diet orders and nutrition care plans.

Food Service Workers Requirements

• Successfully completed or enrolled in a Food Service Worker program at a college established under the Ontario Colleges of Applied Arts and Technology or a Food Service Workers program provided by a registered private career college that is also approved by the Superintendent of Private Career Colleges required (If enrolled in program when hired required training must be completed within three years of being hired).
• must be completed succesfully Food Handlers course offered by Public Health.
• Experience in food services in a healthcare environment is not essential but preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work well independently and with others in a team approach.
• Basic computer literacy required.
• Exceptional Attendance.
• Must be able to adhere to DRDH standards of behaviour.
