McLean Farms is located just 30 minutes southwest of Toowoomba in Pittsworth, the company is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Hand to become an integral part of their Poultry team

Maintenance Hand Responsibilities

Conducting regular maintenance inspections.
Attending to breakdowns and assisting with general repairs.
Performing regular inspections and assessments of farm facilities equipment and infrastructure to make sure that they meet safety and regulatory requirements.
Conducting prestart checks on all of farm equipment.
Documenting maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment servicing.
Cleaning disinfecting maintenance equipment and facilities for maintaining good hygiene.
Performing minor repairs adjustments and replacements on farm machinery feeding systems ventilation equipment and other tools to prevent breakdowns and disruptions to operations.
Monitoring and maintaining strict adherence to animal welfare standards and biosecurity protocols.

Requirements

Previous experience in a maintenance role (highly advantageous).
Organisational and problem solving skills.
Attention to details.
Proficiency in record keeping and data analysis for the management purposes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to work autonomously.
