Ofi a reputed Australian company is looking for Irrigation Leading Hand to support the sustainable growth and production of Almond Orchard at Annuello Orchard in the Wemen region, VIC, Australia. As a irrigation hand you will responsible to work with the Irrigation Controller for day to day irrigation operations. You are also responsible to have the autonomy to implement irrigation programmes suited to the farm as well as monitoring soil moisture and maintaining the farm’s irrigation equipment and infrastructure.

Irrigation Leading Hand Responsibilities
- Assist in training Orchard Technicians on irrigation programme.
- Liaise with contractors to ensure work met timely.
- Monitoring and managing the efficient and timely supply of water and fertiliser to the orchards.
- Maintaining irrigation equipment and ensure timely servicing and repairs of irrigation system.
- Identifying and reporting wet areas and undertake corrective measures
Requirements
- Previous experience working on a farm with knowledge of drip irrigation systems, system design and function will be preffered.
- Team attitude, proven safety track record.
- Eager to learn new skills.
- Anle to clear pre employment drug and medcal test.
