Warehouse Manager Opportunities

Japan Tobacco International is looking for reliable and responsible warehouse manager on the Tainan factory premises.  Reporting to Manufacturing Services Manager the role requires to ensures correctness and accuracy of timely material transfers within managed warehouses, controls, and timely implements all material transfers according to the plan.

Warehouse Manager Responsibilities

• Managing the assigned warehouse and its daily tasks in Tainan.
• Supervising timely and accurate warehouse material transfers.
• Ensuring materials are moved to production efficiently and according to plan.
• Leading and managing the warehouse employee team.
• Ensuring adequate resources are available for warehouse operations.
• Tracking employee working hours and ensure forklift driver training.
• Motivating employees and support their professional development.
• Improving warehouse efficiency and working conditions.
• Collaborating with other factory departments to meet daily targets.
• Maintaining accurate inventory records in the warehousing system.
• Ensuring all material movement and inventory records comply with regulations.
• Managing all necessary documentation, reports, and schedules.
• Enforcing health and safety standards (ISO/EHS, 5S3R) and identifying risks.
• Ensuring safe workplace through hazard identification and control measures.
• Complying with JTI health and safety requirements and ensure employee training.
• Promoting safe employee behavior and address unsafe conditions/behaviors.
• Leading by example in demonstrating commitment to health and safety.
• Maintaining production factor standards for all equipment and the shop floor.

Requirements

• University Degree preferably in Logistics/Warehouse Management or relevant area.
• Min 3 to Max 10 years of Warehouse Management experience in manufacturing setting
• Expert in people management.
• Excellent command over Mandarin and English communication.
