Bega Group has announced cheese production worker vacant positions, the company is looking for dedicated, hardworkinga dn positive person to join them at Ridge Street site in Bega. The casual position is responsible for role supplement the production for specific needs. Production workers are also responsible for a variety of tasks including food handling and product monitoring at daily basis. They are also responsible for adding and removing products from conveyors reworking on rejected items and restocking items used in production processes.

Cheese Production Worker Responsibilities

Monitoring identifying and rejecting any non conforming products.
Verifying food contact surfaces have been sanitized before coming into contact with cheese.
Staying organized for product changes as instructed by the Team Leader according to planned schedule.
Restocking items used in daily production.
Following company’s safety and quality policies and procedures.
Ensuring safe manual handling techniques to minimize strain and prevent injuries.

Requirements

Positive attitude with attention to detail and willingness to learn in a team.
Effective communication skills.
Basic computer skills.
Excellent problen solving skills.
Successful applicant must be able to complete a pre employment medical.
Must have legal rights to work in Australia.
Able to perform repetitive manual tasks.
