The Cruise accomodates maximum of 120 guests and operating 3, 4 and 7 night cruises on the Murray River from Mannum, 87 kilometres from Adelaide. This luxurious and stunning vessel attracts guests from all over Australia and other parts of world.

Cruise Ship Leading Hand Responsibilities

This is a permanent role that will be reporting to the Cruise Director with 2 weeks on rosters 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off just short of full time hours. The role is responsible for all aspects of food and beverage service including set up service clearing and cleaning up for breakfast lunch and dinner. The role also involves cleaning duties in dining room and galley. As a leading dining hand you are responsible for setting up of dining room, polishing cutlery, preparing condiments, folding of napkins, guest boarding tasks. You are required to  do cabin housekeeping including bed making, changing linen and cleaning bathrooms on change over days. You have to  supervises the waiting staff and responsible for ordering of dining room supplies to ensure sufficient stocks are on board.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year experience in hotel, restaurant or cruise ship as a head waiter/waitress is essential.
• Qualification in Hospitality is desirable but not essential.
• Responsible Service of Alcohol is essential.
• Food Safety Certificate is not essential but desirable.
• Guest service and experience working in fast paced enviorment is essential.
