LandSea has announced cabin steward opportuities in Squamish, BC, Canada. The company is looking for efficient, and hardworking person to join their team, as a part of housekeeping department you are responsible for maintaining the highest level of cleanliness in open decks guest state rooms and public areas.
Cabin Steward Responsibilities
- Cleaning and maintaining staterooms and public areas on board vessel.
- Making beds.
- Cleaning bathroom.
- Providing fresh linens empty trash bins and replenish bath amenities as required.
- Delivering important printed notices such as bulletins or compay’s policies.
- Assisting the team during safety drills or evacuation.
Requirements
- Must have 2 years of proven housekeeping experience on a cruise ship or within the hospitality industry.
- High school certificate, GED, or related qualification.
- MED STCW Basic Safety Training
- Marine Basic First Aid
- MED STCW Survival Craft
- Passenger Safety Management
- WHMIS 2015Valid Government-issued Identification
- Able to work in Canada without any restrictions.
- Criminal Record Check
- Minimum 2 references from former employers.
- Ability to tand, walk, stoop, kneel, or crouch for long periods.
- Able to carry objects up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to travel.
Benefits
Company is offering attractive wages starting between $18 to $21 per hour along with overtime pay. They also offfer commuter benefits, fre meals, company events, accomodation, EAP, and wellness program. They have 10 or 12 hour shifts, evening and 4 weeks on and 2 weeks off, 3 weeks on and 1 week off or 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off.
