Responsibilities of a Farm Supervisor:-

A farm supervisor’s responsibilities vary based on the size and type of farm, but they often involve the following:

• Overseeing the farm’s day-to-day operations, such as agricultural production, animal management, and mechanical operation.
• Managing agricultural employees, including hiring, training, and scheduling.
• Crop and livestock production planning and implementation, including defining planting and harvesting schedules and regulating fertilizer and pesticide use.
• Farm machinery and equipment maintenance includes arranging repairs and doing routine maintenance.
• Guaranteeing that all health and safety rules are followed.
• Customer, supplier, and government agency representation.
• Creating and carrying out marketing plans for the farm’s products.
• Responsible for financial analysis and reporting for the farm.

Criteria of Farm Supervisor:-

• Citizens of Canada or Permanent/Temporary Residents having appropriate work permits.
• 1 – 2 years of Farm Supervisor experience.
• Certificate of Completion for Secondary High School
• The use of English will be preferred.
