Doha is the Middle East’s construction capital—Lusail City towers, stadium upgrades, metro expansions, and endless petrochemical plants all demand welders who can work fast, clean, and to international standards. As a Mig Welder in Doha, Qatar, you will join structural steel, piping, and pressure vessels on some of the Gulf’s biggest sites, reading blueprints, operating overhead cranes, and delivering defect-free welds every shift.
Requirements
GTS wants proven GCC welders only.
Male applicants with:
- Vocational diploma or TESDA NC II in welding (SMAW/GMAW/FCAW).
- Minimum 2 years full-time MIG welding experience.
- GCC country experience (Qatar, KSA, UAE, etc.) mandatory.
- Confident in reading welding symbols & isometric drawings.
- 3G/4G or 6G certification is a big advantage.
- Experience with carbon steel & stainless steel 3–50 mm thickness.
- Safe operation of overhead cranes & rigging.
- Basic spoken English—site safety critical.
Age 18+ and Qatar-ready.
Responsibilities
Your torch builds Qatar.
Daily site work:
- Set up MIG machines—wire, gas, parameters.
- Cut, fit-up & tack structural & piping joints.
- Full-penetration MIG welds to code (AWS D1.1, ASME IX).
- Operate 5–20 ton overhead cranes for positioning.
- Clean welds & prep for NDT (UT, MT, RT).
- Inspect own work & assist QC.
- Maintain guns, liners, torches.
- Follow strict HSE—full PPE, permits, LOTO.
6-day week, 10–12 hrs/day + overtime.
