Mclean Farms is looking for passionate, hardworking, and efficient individual to join their team as rearing shed hand. The farm is located  just 30 minutes away southwest of Toowoomba, in Pittsworth. As a poultry worker you are responsible to effectively use resources for supplying a high quality point of lay pullet. Mclean is a family owned agri business dealing in livestock and food production; grain, compost, and feedmill operations. Rearing Shed Hand Responsibilities

As a poultry worker you are responsible for:

• Conduct water, light and feed checks.
• General maintenance of equipments.
• Environmental check to ensure birds safety and comfort.
• Chick trainings and birds welfare.
• General maintenance and cleaning of shed.

Requirements

• Current and valid driving licence.
• Must be available to weekend call out work.
• Live locally or willing to relocate.
• Previous experience in poultry is not essential but preferred.
• Reliable and efficient individual.
• Physically fit to perform farm duties.
