This role is responsible for assisting lead store keeper to provide efficient inventory management services to engineeringand maintenance department of Dubai Metro. Store Keeper Job Description
You have to receive inbound documents from supplier and check them for any errors. Also, offloading materials, and physical checks of delivery products, maintain the records of inventory for accurancy. Besides this, accepting request from sub-system for material issuance, accept waste returns from sunb-system and guide the technicians on disposal of waste. Implementing cost reduction initiatives, operating forklift truck, packing and unpacking of materials, maintainace of warehouse and other duties as instructed all comes under the role.
Requirements
- Forklift operating licence.
- Good communication with strong organizational skills.
- Must be able to work under supervision in fast paced workplace.
- Basic knowledge of material handling and workplace safety.
- Minimum experience of 1 year as store keeper preferably in transport industry.
- Must have high school diploma.
