Requirements for Truck Welder (MIG) Applications:

  • Education: High school graduate or ALS certified.
  • Experience: 3+ years with GMAW and FCAW welding techniques.
  • Skills: Must interpret blueprints and welding diagrams; TESDA NC II in GMAW/MIG is a plus.
  • Physical Ability: Able to lift over 50 lbs and work in various physical positions for extended hours.
  • Tools and Techniques: Familiarity with power/hand tools, including grinders, drills, and cutting torches; knowledge of 5S and Lean Manufacturing principles is an asset.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Strong ability to communicate clearly and work well within a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate GMAW and FCAW welding machinery with precision and safety.
  • Participate in daily team briefings and safety routines.
  • Prepare and check all materials and tools for project readiness.
  • Ensure all welds meet the specified standards and quality requirements.
  • Regularly lift items over 50 lbs, maintain various physical postures, and suggest improvements to
  • enhance quality and productivity.
